How to make a Delta plane

How to make a Delta plane

This video will show you how to make a 3ch Delta Plane

Learning RC flying is not easy, even for full scale pilots (BTDT). 3Ch is the best way to start, because you have only 3 things to think about at once: throttle (climb and glide) on the left stick, elevator (pitch up and down) on the right stick, and rudder (turn) also on the right stick.

The ads all say easy to fly, but don't get disappointed when you try, because everybody crashes lots at the start. Good 3ch trainers, like SlowStick, EasyStar and the beloved HZ SuperCub (most popular) are wonderful because they are forgiving fliers, durable and cheap and easy to flix. Some guys say they get boring quick, but that's their personal hype. Flying a 3ch plane so it goes exactly where you want it to go, landing it clean in front of you and bringing it home in one piece 3X in a row takes lots of practice.

Once you learn to fly a 3ch plane well, doing an aileron plane (ailerons for turn on the right stick) is an easy transition. Then the rudder is on the left stick and you don't need it at first to fly adequately, but then you can learn to add some rudder in turns so the tail follows the nose cleanly behind the nose in turns.

Everybody wants to do the cool stuff at the start, like those neat warbirds(don't), but starting with a popular 3ch trainer and practicing lots works way better, and in the long run is way cheaper
